IVAI
loves singers
and is aware of their needs. We realize that it takes a lot of love,
training and nurturing to develop an exceptional student into an
exceptional artist. We believe that it takes a well-rounded, insightful
and caring support team to help an outstanding artist to stay on
top of their craft. That is why IVAI developed a multi-tiered program,
which offers professional training specifically tailored to the
needs of each carefully selected participant.
For young artists our programs offer an opportunity to develop further
and prepare for career entry. For established professionals, the
programs provide much-needed time to prepare for the next season,
renew vocal technique and explore new repertoire in a sensitive,
non-threatening and caring environment.
We take pride in giving each of our participants the rare opportunity
to work one-on-one with the world's leading singers, conductors,
coaches, and stage directors. Our exceptional faculty is comprised
of luminaries from opera's foremost international companies including
The Metropolitan, Teatro alla Scala, Covent Garden, and the Opera
National de Paris. IVAI promotes the philosophy of passing on the
knowledge from masters to the next generation of operatic talent
in a personal individual approach.
The diverse activities sponsored by IVAI have included international
summer programs as well as year-round activities, such as awards
and grants for study abroad, school outreach performance opportunities
and master class participation.
